Add Vehicle Control

 

Control the number of vehicles to be added to the fleet. For processing multiple vehicles, this screen is displayed after each vehicle is added. The VEHICLES ADDED field shows the number of vehicles processed so far.

 

This control feature verifies that a vehicle was not missed, which is useful for long lists of vehicles. The system does not allow billing until the control number matches the number of vehicles processed.

 

When IRP staff adds a vehicle to the fleet, the mCarrier system interfaces real-time with the State Registration system to verify and retrieve required information for the IRP processing.

 

Required Fields

DESCRIPTION

VEHICLE CONTROL

Total number of vehicles to be processed. For multiple vehicles, the total can be adjusted whenever this control screen appears.

VIN

Enter the vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

Enter the vehicle's plate number, if it is available.

 

Drop-Down List Options

By clicking the down arrow on the drop-down list, the user may select from available options, if any exist. Options that appear in the drop-down list may change, depending on the function being performed.

Submit data or confirm menu selection.

QUIT

Exit without completing the transaction. The user may continue the transaction later by using Supplement Continuance.

REFRESH

Return screen to default selections. Clear data fields completed by user during current session.
