TVR Extension

Under some circumstances, the user may extend the Temporary Vehicle Registration (TVR) expiration date. Internet users do not have access to this function. The extended expiration date for the TVR will default to an additional 15 days (original TVR is 45 days plus an extension for 15 days for a total of 60 days). IRP staff with the appropriate privileges can extend the TVR more than once for additional 15 days. However, the TVR cannot be extended into the next fleet registration year.

The IRP system allows this extension only if the original TVR supplement has been paid. The system does not assign a new TVR number; the TVR number is not changed.
